Me: "No, they just match my shirts."
Cashier: "Oh, OK! Aren't I observant?"

Older Kippah Stories

Trader Joe's
Mere hours after returning home from Jerusalem, I went to Trader Joe's yesterday and had the following interaction.
Me (to myself): Yay! Vegetarian breakfast sausages. I can't wait. Yum!
Lady: That's a very nice yarmulka!
Me: Why thank you!
Lady: God bless you! Did you know that Jesus is the king of Abraham, Isaac, and Joseph?
Me: Oh, really?
Lady: Would you like to learn more about Jesus?
Me: No thank you! [Exit stage right...]
